Movie review: Braven with Jason Momoa

Braven is an action movie with a big dude named Jason Momoa. He reminds me of Steven Seagal. Anyway, in the movie, Joe Braven (Momoa) and his dementia suffering dad own a logging company. One of the company's drivers turns out to be a drug runner. As we learn, this rogue driver has been transporting drugs with his loser friend on his route. While these two brainiacs are delivering a giant batch of some sort of illegal drug, his truck crashes. To avoid having the cops find their dope, they stash it at our hero's cabin nearby. Coincidentally, Braven and his father are headed there the next day. Well, needless to say, the drug kingpin has a lot of money involved and wants his dope to be where it needs to be. He has a whole team of snipers and henchmen ready to retrieve the drugs at the Braven cabin where his idiot drug runners have left it. When these two worlds collide the calamities ensue.

This is a pretty good action movie that cannot be taken too seriously. The hero does think of some odd ways to kill some bad dudes which is always fun. Braven makes a lot of odd choices throughout but he seems to get the desired outcome so that is all that matters.
