Bergen Peak Trail is a 10.3 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Evergreen, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as difficult. It was not too bad, though. Here is me at the top.  Overall, this is a  nice, casual hike near vibrant Evergreen. It took us about 2 hours to get to the top.  Here is the beginning of the trail.  Check out the scenery! Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is celebrated on the third Monday of January to honor the birthday of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The American federal holiday remembers the nonviolent activism of King and his successful protest against racial discrimination.
