SOLVED! FBI on the tail of the DNC Hacker!

The FBI was able to track the DNC hack to an IP address located somewhere close to the North Pole, but sources close to the investigation said the trail had grown cold.

"As soon as special agents were close to apprehending the suspect, they unexpectedly left the area," one source confirmed. "They suddenly grew very eager to spend Christmas vacations with their families."

All we know about the "North Pole Hacker" at this time is that he has an uncanny ability to monitor even the most secret communications in order to compile his annual "naughty or nice" list, which he then cross-references - twice - with corroborative data from other sources.

"The suspect, who goes by the initials SC, usually keeps his list to himself," the FBI source said, "but this was an unprecedented year in many ways." It appears that this year the North Pole Hacker broke with his tradition and posted his "naughty or nice" findings on WikiLeaks, allegedly "so that Americans can get a good president for Christmas."

We will keep you informed as this case develops. News updates at 11--

401K Catch-up contributions

Did you know that eligible Plan Participants can make savings Catch-up contributions into their company 401(k) account beginning on or after the year in which they turn 50?

What are catch-up contributions?
“Catch-up contributions” are supplemental tax-deferred employee contributions that are in addition to regular contributions.  These supplemental contributions can be made by participants age 50 or older who would like to make contributions above the maximum amount they could otherwise make to the 401(k) Plan.

Who is eligible to make catch-up contributions?
To be eligible to make catch-up contributions, a participant must be:
·  age 50 or older during the calendar year in which the catch-up contributions are made   (even if the participant becomes age 50 on December 31 of   that year),
·  currently employed and in pay status,
·  contributing either the maximum contribution percentage allowed or contributing an amount that will cause him or her to reach the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) elective deferral limit by the end of that year which is $18,000 in 2017.
·  your plan has to permit catch-up contributions (90% do!)

How much can I contribute?
If you are eligible, you can contribute up to the annual maximum dollar amount ($6,000 in 2017) allowed by the IRS.  Catch-up contributions have an annual IRS limit, just as regular contributions have an annual IRS elective deferral limit.

What if I already have catch up elections being withheld in 2016?
Then you do not need to do a thing.

How do I elect to make catch-up contributions or change the amount that I currently contribute?
·         Log on to your company's 401(k) provider.

Rev. Joe Wright prayer at the Kansas State Senate

This is an interesting prayer given in Kansas at the opening session of their Senate. It seems  prayer still upsets some people... When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open
the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual  generalities, but this is what they heard:
Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done.
We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.
We have exploited the poor and called it  the lottery.
We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.
We have killed our unborn and called it  choice.
We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.
We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem..
We have abused power and called it politics.
We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition.
We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.
We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.
Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free.

The response was immediate. A number of legislators walked out during the prayer in
protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than 5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls responding negatively.. The church is now receiving international requests for copies of this prayer from India, Africa and Korea .
With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep over our nation and wholeheartedly become our desire so that we again can be called 'one nation under God.'

Why we have the Electoral College

Here's why we need the Electoral College: States Matter

The Founders of the country were smart. They asked several questions about how to protect people from each other.

One question was:

"What if a larger number of citizens - say, half - are concentrated in just a few areas in the country, and the other half are more spread out. If the concentrated half vote, their small region(s) could override the votes of much larger territories."

And that's what we had this election -- about half the population present in all 50 states, and the other half concentrated in large number in 11 or 12 states.

In fact, 1/2 of the votes for the Democrats came from one state -- California. The founders knew that the 50 territories would not be happy with one large state controlling the Executive Branch.

So the electoral votes cannot ever be concentrated in only a few regions -- the electoral votes are spread out. Even if 50% of Hillary Clinton's votes came from California -- and they actually did -- California does not have 50% of electoral votes. Once California is completely blue (more illegals and such), it's possible that 75% of the Democrats' presidential votes could come from California.

Now, there is no way that the 49 other states be okay with one state always determining the Executive Branch. And with the Electoral College, that cannot happen.

Electoral votes stop smaller areas of the USA from controlling the Executive branch.

Look at the map above and imagine that the few blue counties in the 2016 President voting outcome controlled the Executive Branch -- look at all the pissed off states that would result from that, the states with all the red counties.

Also, keep in mind that Donald Trump did not even campaign in California. If the winner of the popular vote won, he would have been there every day.
